What is UpCycle?

UpCycle is when you reuse objects or materials, in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

Upcycling takes an old object and gives it a new life.

The environmental benefits of upcycling are huge - aside from minimising the volume of discarded materials and waste; it also reduces the need for production using new or raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and a conservation of global resources.
